35mm Film For your wedding

The appeal of film photography lies in its nostalgic and timeless look. It's grainy, the colours are so unique and it'll give you that feeling of capturing such a fleeting moment in time. Nostalgic, beautiful and timeless - 35mm film photography instantly elevates your wedding gallery and I LOVE it!

What is film photography?

A quick guide to weddings, on film.

Film photography is a classic way of capturing images using a special type of film that needs to be developed. Think back to when disposable cameras were a thing, but make it professional.

35mm film is an increasingly popular choice for many photographers, including both documentary and editorial wedding photographers, and has been gaining popularity over the past few years. It certainly looks like it's here to stay.

When you shoot with film, you have to carefully consider each shot because you have a limited number of exposures on each roll of film, which somehow makes every shot that bit more special.

Film photography requires patience and skill, but the results can be truly stunning. So many factors influence how the film photos will look - which camera your photographer uses, the film stock they use, how they have it developed etc, which means that every wedding photographer who uses film will have a unique approach and outcome.

Is 35mm your vibe?

If you're looking for a unique and artistic touch to your wedding photos, consider working with a photographer who can capture your wedding in both digital and 35mm film photography, like myself! If you're already booked in with me, or are considering booking me, take a look at a (rather big) selection of my favourite film photos from some recent weddings to get a feel for my film photography style.
