Meet Tasha. A relaxed editorial wedding photographer.
As the daughter of an architect, I always grew up observing structure. From beautiful old columns to modern masterpieces. My dad would take me out with our old camera and we would observe similar patterns in nature, or the city. This grounding in design and appreciation for seeing beauty in the world all around made pursuing a career in photography a natural one.
I've always been a chronic people pleaser and problem solver. Before entering the wonderful world of wedding photography, I used to be a scientist, and achieved my PhD in cancer immunotherapy. It might seem strange to mention, but this part of my life was so important to my journey, and my mentality even now. So many of my lovely couples have noted how calm and confident I am under pressure, and how I supported them on their wedding day.
I pride myself in my ability to put you and your guests at ease, melt into the background to unobtrusively capture all the moments you don't want to miss, or forget.
Each couple that I work with is unique and different, something I celebrate. I love investing time in getting to know you both, and learning what's important for you, and making sure your wedding reflects that. My aim is to beautiful photographs of the moments that matter most, whilst prioritising your presence and enjoyment of your wedding, above all else. I bring relaxed editorial wedding photography with heart and authenticity to couples who want to remain present in their wedding day. I always aim to capture how a wedding feels, not just how it looks.
One couple recently told me it was just like having a good friend there, who they knew and trusted, and I just happened to have a camera (or three), and that compliment means everything to me.
